Marcello Petitta PhD, is Senior Researcher at Eurac and part-time researcher for ENEA, the Italian national institution for energy and sustainable development. As climatologist, at Eurac he is responsible for the study and the research on all the quantitative aspects related to climate data, climate models and climate changes effects. Furthermore, he is an active researcher in the field of atmospheric science, remote sensing, statistics of extreme events and climate change. He studied Physics at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” where he also obtained his PhD in Aerospace Engineering in 2004.
